Starting from a group of teenagers who often gather behind the Toho Building in Shinjuku’s Kabukicho — known as the "Toyoko Kids" (トー横キッズ) — Toyoko Tonight (2024) weaves together stories from the neon-lit shadows of Tokyo: encounters between young men and women, girls and her little white rabbit, and the prayer of a homeless man.
